I am researching the ancestors of Charles Elgin (originally Charlz Elgen)an immigrant to the United States from the country of Prussia,in Europe.Charles was born circa 1836. He served in the United States Army Mounted Rifles during the Indian Wars and during the United States Civil War. He married Leviny Perkins December 24, 1863 in Kansas City, Missouri. (Leviny also found spelled as Levenia & Lavena) |
