My parents are George Joseph Elgier and Martha Joy Kelsey. My father was from Louisiana and I have been unsuccessful in researching this part of my family tree. My mother's side of the family -Kelsey- is well documented. The Kelsey Kindred is an association of descendants of William Kelsey who came to America in 1632 and was one of the first settlers of New Towne (now Cambridge) Massachusetts. |
