I am researching ELLIOTTs of Scottish descent who appear to have a connection to Ulster, Ireland (we have a document - Ulster's Solemn League and Covenant - signed on "Ulster Day" Saturday, 28th September, 1912 in MaryHill, Glasgow by one John Elliott (great-grandfather)in opposition to Home Rule of Ireland, under King George V. Also the LAMBERTs of Hounslow, London. William Charles Frederick m. Maude Ethel WADE and had 3 children; Mavis Olive, Harry and Jack. Also the AMERYs of London. Thomas Gill AMERY was born in 1860 in Kent (m. to Alice daughter of Charles and Harriet SMITH and moved to Greenwich) and had 3 children George Edward, Thomas and Charles. Do you have any of these individuals on your tree? I'd appreciate any information you can share, and am more than happy to reciprocate. Also Robert John SUTHERLAND (b. 1847) and Susannal Mabel MACDONALD (b. 1853) both born in Scotand, married in Waterford, Ireland (1870) and then moved to Wales where they died. I know of one daughter Ethel Blodwin b. 1896. She married Richard Henry YOUNG at the tender age of 16. Had 3 children Alice Maude, Ethel Cristina and Robert Henry. Finally the SHERLOCKs of Wales. James m. Elizabeth THOMAS had son Ronald James b. july 1914. |
