I am researching the Book, Paulk, Briggs, Brown and Head surnames.William Book was my gggrandfather.He was born abt.1812 in Pa.Don't know what his wife's name was. Have only been doing genealogy for 3 years ,so I'm really new at all this.The Book family was believed to have migrated to La. in the late 1820's or the early 1830's.
William's son Richard M. Book was born June 1834 in La.He was married to Nancy Paulk Jan. 29,1856.As far as I know there were only 2 children from this marriage.Mary Lucy and John Morgan(my grandfather).when Nancy passed away, Richard married Sarah Ann Briggs and they had 13 children.I am at this time trying to locate the info on these 13 offsprings.

John Morgan married Emma E. Head April 29,1885.I believe that Emma's Parents, Wiley and Jeanette (Brown) Head resided in the region of Pollock, La.Nancy's parents were living in Rapides Parish when John and Emma were married.

Would appreciate any help with these family lines.I have lots of data on present day Books.I live in Catahoula parish where most of this family settled.If you think you may be able to help me , please do.I'm willing to share what info I have with others searching same surnames.
