This site is an ongoing project. If you have any additions please email me. I have been working on my tree since 1998.

My main research lines are as follows:
The WEBB family. I have traced this family back to Harford Co. MD (1700's). The family later moved to Scio Co., OH and Hancock Co., WV. Who are the ancestors of my elusive Samuel Webb (b. about 1706 in England)?

The SHIRK family from PA and IL. This family has been well documented and I have much information back to Hans Schurch who was born in 1566 in Switzerland.

The HOFFMAN family of Germany and Monroe Co., MI. Thanks to the recent connection with a long lost relative (met through the internet) I am now getting the important information that I need on this family. Stay tuned for updates!

The WINTERS family. After many hours, days, weeks of research I still am unable to find much information out about this family. I'm hoping that someday someone will find a match so that we can share information.

The WANGBICHLER family. This is another line that I have not found out much about. But the search never ends!

The BAXTER family of Virginia and West Virginia. This family is quite large and has different ties to my WEBB line. Greenberry Baxter is not a common name, so, I am hoping that someone else has him in their line as well.

The OYLER family. Who are these people? This family married into my SHIRK line. So far I have not had much luck. Perhaps there is another spelling?
