"John Carroll Ellingson of Spokane, WA."

I have been researching my family for the past twenty years. My father, John Severin Ellingson, was born July 3, 1885 at the Bjørndal farm in Nærøy commune, Nord Trondelag fylke,Norway and came to the United States when he was fifteen years old. I have traced his family and ancestors back to the 1600's.
My mother's ancestors that I have located came to the United States before 1650 including one who came on the Mayflower. Seven of her ancestors were in the American Revolution as enlisted soldiers. She was Martha Edith Thurston born June 3, 1887 at Mankato, Blue Earth County, MN.
