| My mother's family, and mine, came to the United States by way of Scotland in the late 1600's.Abraham Macklemore and brother James made a home for themselves primarily on the frontier of Virginia,North Carolina,Tennessee.Along the way Haneys, Christmas, Donelson and other surnames melded with the McLemores until my mother met my birth father Willie Alvin Ellington.She later married my dad William Robert Gatton fourty years ago.I am a Lutheran Pastor in Oklahoma.Along with my wife of twenty nine years and our two grandchildren we live in a community outside of Oklahoma City.I've been in the ministry for 10 years. My whole family are native Texans displaced in Oklahoma. My wife and I were born in the same room but 34 days apart,she is my old lady.
