I am researching, with the help of family members, the family lines of both my wife and myself. Watson line begins with Henry Bagwell, who arrived at Jamestown in 1610, moved to Eastern Shore of Virginia by late 1620s, and until my grandparents (Oscar Duncan Watson & Rebecca Norma Mears) left in early 1900's the family remained in Accomack or Northampton Counties. Ellis line comes from West Virginia (around St Albans), beginning with a James and Celia Ellis who came to the area in late 1700's, we think. Paternal grandparents: Guy Cameron Ellis & Amiee Shauver. McNamara/Caldwell line: These are my wife's parents, who were also born in West Virginia. McNamara line is known. Looking for help on Albert Fetcher Caldwell-Clara A. Underwood line. They lived in Lerona County, WV in early 1900s. I am relatively new at this, but have a great deal of information developed by other family members who have provided me the results of their labors. Looking for mutually beneficial sharing and exchanging of information. |
