Most of my family research was done by my mother before she passed away 8 years ago. Her research information has been lying in a cupboard over the years until my daughter and son had shown an interest. I find that on my mothers side she has researched back to the late 1600s. Of particular interest to me now is my fathers side, the Elphinstones where she had only managed to get back to my great grandparents. This was probably due to geographical location being different, and her inability to travel to further her research. |
