| I am researching these surnames: Brannan,Cox,Ashbrook,-Carroll Co.,OH 1820's-1920's James Brannan settled in Augusta, Ohio in the early 1800's. Homan,Stankard-Stark Co.,OH mid 1800's.George Homan(no dates)and Catharine Stankard(no dates) Kratz-Tuscarawas Co.,OH and Baden, Germany early 1800's-1900's.Charles F. Kratz came to Ohio circa 1849.His childrens names were Jacob (my 3rd great grandfather)Louis and Sophia Heter.Jacobs children were Charles H. and Dorothy(never married) Charles had my great grandma, Elizabeth in 1905. Just-Tuscarawas Co.,OH and Herrnhut,Sachsen, Germany 1828-1900's.Robert Just and his brother(?)Eugene came to Ohio circa1850.My 3rd great grandmother had 3 children with Eugene.Louis was the only one to have children.Adalaide and Valeria never married.Eugene died in 1861 and my grandmother married his brother(unconfirmed),Robert in 1873.My 2nd great grandmother was born to them in 1874(Emma).Their other daughter,Edith never married.Emma had my great grandma,Elizabeth Kratz in 1905. Zaugg-Tuscarawas Co.,OH and Blumenstein, Switzerland mid 1800's Elizabeth Zaugg came to Ohio in 1850.Her fathers name was Jacob. Elizabeth first married Eugene Just and then Robert Just in 1873. Maugeri(Mauceri)-Tuscarawas Co.,OH and Sicily late 1800's.Salvatore and Nunzia came to Ohio in the early 1900's Kennedy-East Twp.Carroll Co.,OH and Ireland Mid 1800's.Andrew Kennedy was living in Ohio in circa 1850.I am having a very hard time finding out when he came to Ohio or any other information on him for that matter. Van Lehn-WarwickTwp.Tuscarawas Co.,OH and Lancaster Co.,PA 1700's& 1800's.Casper Heinrich Van Lehn lived in Lancaster Co.,Pennsylvania in the 1700's.There he married Anna Maria Born.They had my 4th great grandfather,Henry(Heinrich)Van Lehn in 1800.They came to Ohio shortly thereafter and settled in what came to be known as Lehns Valley,Warwick Twp.Tuscarawas Co.,Ohio.Henry's daughter,Ellen Melissa is my 3rd great grandmother.She married Jacob Kratz. Smith,Longabaugh-Stark Co.,OH 1800's-early 1900's Samuel Smith settled in Stark Co. Ohio in the early 1800's.His son,Jessie J., is my 2nd great grandfather.He married Mary Rebecca Longabaugh. Schwartz-Stark Co.and Holmes Co.,OH late 1800's& early 1900's.Names Im researching are Charles O. (married Ida Selzer)And their son Robert. Selway-McKeesport,PA and England 1800's.Burt Selway, my 2nd great grandfather,was born in PA shortly after his mother immigrated to America with his brothers.His son,Claude Albert,was born in 1902.He married Elizabeth Kratz. Moran-McKeesport,PA Late 1800's.Margaret is the only name I know.She was the 1st wife of Burt Selway. She ran off with another man when Claude was very young.Not much is known about her. Eichel-Warwick Twp.Tuscarawas Co.,OH and Alsace.Margaret Emmigrated from Alsace with her 3 children circa 1830's.Her husband was named Philip.He died before she came to America.Her daughter,Sophia,is my 4th great grandmother.She married Charles F. Kratz.
