Tamra Ann & Stephen Tyler Elwell - Family Page

I am researching the Elwell family and currently have over 2300 Elwell’s in my family tree. I have traced our ancestors to back to the early 1600’s, to Robert Elwell, was born in England about 1612, came from Stoke Abbot, Devonshire, England. Robert is know to have been a resident of Dorchester, in the Colony of Massachusetts Bay (now a part of the city of Boston) in the year 1634. So far I have been unsuccessful in locating his parents and any earlier ancestors.
Other family names I am interested in researching in the New England region in the 1800’s are Baggs, Clapp, Cromwell, Hollett, Sinclair.

Any information, additions or corrections that can be documented would be appreciated. I am more than happy to share any information that I have.
