Attempting to find ancestors and descendents of John Barnard and Cada Johnson Barnard. First appear in 1860 Census of Scott Co, AR. Cada's mother Mary P. Johnson is also in household and a female L.M. Staton, age 12. In 1870 Census, Cada is listed with her two sons, Alsbury,b 1861, and John Matthew b 1863. Cada in listed with her parents, Mary P. and Richard Johnson in 1850 in Henderson Co.,TN. Have found land records in Arkansas, have not found any birth, marriage, or death records, nor parents or siblings of John Barnard. Both Alsbury and John Matthew Barnard migrated to Oklahoma with their families around 1900. |
