The Emch Family Hall of Fame

Hello!
My name is Jessie Emch, and I'm just getting started researching the history of the Emch name. I have a wide base of knowledge of Emchs in West Virginia (New Martinsville and surrounding Wetzel Co. area) and Ohio. I am fairly sure that the roots I'm searching for date back to the 16th or 17th century in Switzerland, and have only minimal information about past Emchs such as Benedict Emch. I would greatly appreciate any information one might offer me. I am also interested in information on the surname McKinley and Dean, as they are pertinent to the research of my paternal grandmother and great grandmother. Thanks for your support!
