THIS IS MY TREE, BRANCHES AND TWIGS.
I have been researching the Emerson family and the numerous collateral lines from Medieval Europe, starting with Philip of Poitiers 1160-1208 and Michael Emerson 1627-1709 who emigrated to America about 1650, up to the present day.
The data base includes early ancestry in New England, (NH, VT, ME, MA, RI,)and NY, PA, TN, VA and Nova Scotia, as well as 16th & 17th Century England, France and Switzerland.
John Nott-Knott's recently discovered lineage includes the surnames, Nott, Byron, Connolly, Wallace, Roach, Gill, Fowble and Englishbel. The data base includes early ancestry in Germany and Ireland and Carroll County, Maryland.
I have had the joy of finding and meeting many new cousins on line and in person. It is an exciting endeavor and I invite you to join me in this passage back thru time, the closest we will ever get to time travel. I did not undertake this journey to find famous relatives although I did find a few, nor to find infamous relatives although I did find a few of those also.
Any additional information would be appreciated, I am also willing to share the information that I have collected. If you see errors please feel free to contact me and point them out. e-mail: anngram@metrocast.net
