The Emery Family from Columbia, SC

Hello everyone! We are currently conducting several different family projects,allof which involve geniology on some level. My wife, April Emery, is in the process of writing a book about her Grandmother and that side of the family. Her grandmother's name is Celia Gladys Waters and we're researching the surname's of Waters, Averett, Byrd, Enginger, Scott and Samples. The family members that we are aware of and are "searching for" are located in North Alabama near Boaz, Alabama, also further south in Newton, Alabama or in South Alabama near Ozark, Enterprise and Daleville. We're also conducting a seperate research for her father's side of the family to include Turner, McDonald and McRory. We are tracking them all across the country, with records reaching overseas to the Isle of Skye in Scotland.
