| I am searching members of the ZEBRASKY (ZEBRACKI) family. My paternal grandfather ANDREW ZEBRACKI married ANNA VALERIA FABER in Galicia area of Poland in the early 1900's. Their daughter AMELIA was born in Poland in 1903. They settled in West Newton, Pa and had the folowing children STELLA, 1904; SOPHIA, 1907; JOSEPHINA, 1912; and EDWARD, 1914. The children all used ZEBRASKY ANNA FABER had a brother FRANK FABER living in Chicago, Il. He owned a furniture store there. Family rumor has it that ZEBRASKY cousins, ect. settled around Pittsburgh, Pa. But haven't met any yet. Also, that some were in Dunkirk, NY. A cousin named Roxi had something to do with a circus possibly in Florida. Another rumor is that the town Kalaria Zebrzydowska in Poland is family homestead?? I have located it on a map but know little more than that. Also searching maternal grandparents. ADABLERT BEBEN married VICTORIA DMITROWSKI (location unknown). They had 8 children, all supposedly born in Pa.(Most likely in Allengheny county) One uncle was baptised in Donora, Pa. The children were CHARLES, MARY, NORMAN, HELEN, JOSEPH, JEAN, ANN, AND STELLA. They all used the last name BEVAN STELLA married EDWARD ZEBRASKY VICTORIA BEVAN later married WILLIAM JIMERIA((DZMERIA,JERMERIA) Both ANDREW ZEBRASKY and ADALBERT BEBEN probably worked in coal mines in Allengheny and/or Westmoreland counties. Any information would be appreciated and I would be happy to share what I've found. |
