Information on the Emo Family in Spain first came to light in October 2006 and the details, as reported, are now available for publication by special permission on the Emo Family Webpage. There will be further additions to this illustrious branch of the Emo's in due course.
Historical evidence is forthcoming to show that this Emo branch is directly linked to the Emo Patriarchs of the early Venetian Republic.
Written records before the 1700's are difficult to come by and it is possible that other branches of the Emo's may have evolved from either the Venetian or the Spanish lines. Stay tuned to this exciting new development.
