I have just started researching the Emsley family tree of my branch of the family at this stage mainly in Lancashire UK The other branches on the maternal side include the surnames Easton,Shepherd & Gray living in and around Burnley,Lancs.-and back to the Emsley side I think I have traced the Emsley,s back to Addingham,West Yorkshire where they were stonemasons in the early 19th Century,I think my branch them moved to Pendleton in Salford Lancs via Liverpool. I would appreciate any information ref the above and I am also willing to share any information I have. |
