The Allen Franklin Engle Home Page

I am a beginner in genealogy and have just recently began attending meetings of the Pittsburg, Kansas Genealogy Society. I have been trying to research my father, Allen Franklin Engle, SSN unknown, born in the Cincinnati, Ohio area on 23 May 1876 and died in Pittsburg, Kansas on 15 April 1948. I am the youngest of his seven children consisting of Thelma Marie, Samuel Columbus, Alvira Ruth, Edna Francis, Joseph Herbert, James Franklin, and Allen Edward. He married Addie Mae Spears of Hohenwald, Tennessee, somewhere in Arkansas in about 1918 or 1919. I have obtained a copy of his death certificate and it lists his father as a John (NMI) Engle of Reading, Ohio.
