We (Deb and John) repaired Peter Poh's broken tombstone and reset it in Evergreen Cem., Manitowoc on May 11, 2003. The monument says: I.H.S. / In memory of / PETER POH / BORN / May 10, 1814 / DIED / Oct. 22, 1885 / Gone before us O our brother / To the spirit land / Vainly look we for another / In thy place to stand. The verse is from a poem by John Greenleaf Whittier.
