I'm researching the ancestor and descendants of Joseph & Mary (Tipple) England. Joseph and Mary were born in the late 1700's. Joseph came from Maryland and Mary Tipple was born in Germany. They came to Ohio in the early 1800's and lived in Fairfield and Picaway Counties. They eventually settled in Wyandot County around 1833. They had at least three sons -- Lewis (abt. 1807-1870), John (abt 1807-1892), and Daniel (1819-1887). I'm also researching the following surnames: Bullis, Nye, Tipple, and Marugg. Any information would be appreciated. I will gladly share any information that I have with anyone.

  • Mary Tipple England (110 KB)
    Mary Tipple England was the oldest child of Daniel and Mary England. She was born on January 22, 1841 in Crawford Twp, Wyandot County, Ohio. She lived most of her life in Carey, OH where she was a tailoress.
  • Abigail England (166 KB)
    Abigail England was the 2nd child of Daniel and Tina England. She was born in Wyandot County, OH on November 17, 1843. She married George W. Starr and they had one daughter, Mary Maud Starr. Abigail died on December 7, 1888.
