The Shepardson Fanily Tree info was written up by W. K. Shepardson in 1958 (Volume II) and provided to me by Horace Lester Riggs, Jr.



The book " BOWDOIN FAMILY IN THE UNITED STATES" by U. Bowdoin Marsh, published in 1982 - a self published book that we purchased at a family reunion in Alabama.


Bowdoin College is an independent, nonsectarian, coeducational  residential, undergraduate liberal arts institution founded in 1794 by the Bowdoin family. It is located in Brunswick, Maine, a town of 22,000 on the Maine coast. Study at Bowdoin leads to a bachelor of arts degree in one of about 40 departmental and interdisciplinary majors.
