I have been searching our genealogy and I really enjoy it. Not only have I found memorabilia of my ancestors, but I also enjoy corresponding with and meeting new family. My paternal ancestor surnames include Trainer, Winstanley and Game. My maternal ancestor surnames include Appleton, Ross,Flower,Fee and O'Rourke. My ancestors were from England and Ireland. My husband Jim's paternal ancestor surnames were Epifano and Boumente. I think its spelled Boumente. Jim's maternal ancestor surnames were Blasberg and Krebs. Jim's ancestors were from Italy and Germany. I'm looking for anyone with information that would like to share with me concerning this research.
Let me tell you about us. I'm Marge the daughter of Elizabeth [Appleton] and Clayton Trainer. I have one brother. My mother Elizabeth, is 88 years old and residing with me. Jim is the son of Emma [Blasberg] and Frank Epifano. Jim had seven siblings, with only three remaining. We will be married 40 years in September. We have five children, Terry [Pete Lodge], Jimmy, Michael [In Heaven], Tina [Frank Scholer], and Renee. We have seven grandchildren Peter [P.J.], Michael, Keith,Tammy,Ashley, Brittany and Shane. All the grandchildren are in school except for Shane whom is 2 years old. We also raised three foster children: Stella, Charles 'Benny' and Patty whom are also dear to our hearts.----- Marge

BEATITUDES OF A FAMILY GENEALOGIST by Wilma Mauk
Blessed are the great grandfathers, who saved embarkation and citizenship paper. For they tell whence they came. Blessed are the great grandmothers, who hoarded newspaper clippings and old letters. For these tell the story of their time. Blessed are all grandfathers, who filed every legal document. For this provides the proof. Blessed are grandmothers, who preserved family Bibles and diaries. For this is our heritage. Blessed are fathers, who elect officials that answer letters of inquiry. For - to some - the only link to the past. Blessed are mothers, who relate family tradition and legend to the family. For one of her children will surely remember. Blessed are relatibes, who full in family sheets with extra data. For to them we owe the family history. Blessed is any family, whose member strives for the preservation of records. For their's is a labor of Love. Blessed are the children, who will never say, Grandma you have told that old story twice today.
