Thanks to all who have help written, email and call your communication has been much appreciated and cherished. I can't go on as far as the Epling side without mentioning one person Robert Louis Massard who I found to have the most comprehensive info on the Eplings and he now has two OUTSTANDING books out which are available @ New England Historic Genealogical Society:
Epling/Eplin (1787-2001) vol 1 it covers the 1st 6 generations of John Paul Epling & (1787-2002) vol II which covers generation 7 and later of his son Paul also has documents and pictures, Vol III which covers generation 7 and on of his sons Daniel and John, vol IV which covers son Philip descendants and Vol V which should be out soon covering his son Isaac. I'm sure he still looking for any and all info you might have to share. I'm still trying to make the actual documented connection of John Paul Epling to Europe or England. As you know we have several theories out there with most of our cousins feeling that we came from Germany and I myself lean to that we came from Holland through England to Jamestown around 1609 Before living in Holland we most likely lived in Germany I have found Eplin's and Epling's living in Engalnd, Germany and other parts of Europe as early as the 1500s.

You can reach Robert Massard 28 Standish Circle Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts 02481 he would love to hear from you tell him hi for me. Again if you are at all interested in the Eplings or Eplins or are one of our cousins I highly recommend his books

I've decided to post all the generations I have on my data base but to go ahead and privatize the information.
John Paul Epling report I have over 2800 individuals. I have about 10,000 total in my data base on all the families which include both my wife side as well as my side

I'm researching Armstrong, Boman, Brewton, Coker, Epling, Griffitt, Jarvenpaa, Ledgerwood, McCullough, Swanson, Todd, Webb, Wilkman, just to mention a few.

Appreciate comments and help
