1. SR SR. ROBERT¹ HENRY was born Abt. 1760 in NC, and died September 30, 1836 in GA. He married CELIA FIELDS April 24, 1785 in Craven Co. NC. She was born Abt. 1768 in NC, and died 1838 in Stewart County, GA.

Notes for SR SR. ROBERT HENRY:
On April 24, 1785, in North Carolina, Robert Henry married Celia Fields. Their first children were born in North Carolina. The family then moved to Sumter County, South Carolina, where the rest of their 13 children were born.

By , July 31, 1826, the family was living in Lee County, Georgia where Robert Henry Sr. and his neighbors signed petitions asking for the State's protection against the Indians. Robert Henry, Sr. the first Henry in our records, fought in the Revolutionary War.

Jan. 19, 1828, Georgia, Lee County, 19th District. To Governor John Forsyth, Milledgeville, Baldwin Co., Ga. Executive office. Sir: Pleasing your Excelience we are Copeld to in form you that the Indens are stealing and keilling ower Stock of everry kind and on the 15th this instat we found an Indin Camp Composed of seven Indins and after a few words requesting them to go away the Indins made Battle and fierd on us and killd Willaim Grantham and Shot a ball through the Close of Eprim Loovet. These people are Campt in every direction throughout the County and are verry Sawsey and manifest a hostile Dispersition in the general in conciquence of which some of ower Sittizens are leave the Country and unless some relief and that speedily we shall all be compeld to leave ouer Cuntry. Robert Henry, Sr. died in the fall of 1836. He was buried in Houston County, Georgia. His wife, Celia died 2 years later in Stewart County.
