| I am researching the family line of my parents Bernard Nels Erickson from Rock Springs, Sweetwater County Wyoming & Ellen Lorraine Van Schaack, her parents were Clair Dewey & Rosalie Anastsia Tomsik Van Schaack from White River, South Dakota. The Erickson name was Bjorken in Sweden. The Ericksons arrived in America around 1880 from Sweden. The first member to arrive was John followed by a brother Eric Nels and family in 1903. Bernard's mother, Isabel Irma Sweeney's family, were Bernard & Mary O'Donnell Sweeney from Dungloe, Donegal County Ireland. They immigrated to America in 1880 also to Sweetwater County Wyoming. |
