Henry and Walburga (Beck) Graehling Home Page

My great-great grandparents were Henry Graehling who married Walburga Beck. Henry Graehling was born 28 June 1828 in Pfaffenhoffen, Alsace, then a part of France (but he was German. He was the son of Henry and Magdalene (Greenawalt) Graehling. Henry came to the U.S. in 1850, living in Pittsburgh, Pa. for a while before moving to Ogle County, Illinois where he spent the rest of his life. Walburga Beck Graehling was born 25 February 1835 in Kirchberg, Wurttemberg, Germany, the daughter of Wilibold and Theresa (Buechele) Beck. Henry and Walburga Graehling had 10 children, 2 dying in infancy. Ogle County is in northwestern Illinois.I am also researching the family names of: Farver, Schumacher, Haberer, Wolber, Dieterle, Graehling, Beck, Kline, Bird, and Pegg.Would appreciate hearing from anyone researching the above names, especially Graehling and Beck.
