The Amos H. Sawyer Family History

I am researching the Amos H. Sawyer Family. Amos was born in Ohio in the early 1800's and moved several times during his life. He died in Guide Rock Nebraska where he is buried with his wife Susanna Graham and other members of his family. I have yet to find a document supporting the names of Amos' Parents. We have a guess that it may be James Sawyer from New York, But this is not certain. If anyone has information supporting this or any information on another couple who claim to be Amos' parents please email me. I hope you find this information interesting and useful.
