I am very beginner in family research. I am very interested in learning and researching all that I can about my family. My parents are divorced and re-married - also their spouses were previously married or "attached" with children - so that makes this a little more interesting for me to research. Also, my father-in-law was adopted at about 1 1/2 years of age and does not know who his biological parents are. This makes for some very challenging research for me, but I am looking forward to learning how and succeeding. Any tips on how to research, especially on adoptions in 1948-49, I would greatly appreciate. |
