The spelling of Katha's and Ignacz's last name was Kowalchik. Kazimir, age 10 years, and Maria, age 16 years, came to the United States through Ellis Island on February 23, 1901. They were accompanied by an aunt ( ? Bronisla Brzezinska, 23 years old and her daughter, Helena, ll months old, their place of residence was listed as Plock, Russia.). Kazimir and Maria's place of residence was listed as Zalas, Russia prior to their sailing to America. They sailed from Bremen, Germany on the ship, Rhein.
