Notes for Benjamin Lawrence: When Benjamin came to America from England he had a brother who died on the boat coming over to the United States and he had to be thrown overboard. He was a brick layer by trade. The whole family came over on the boat trip from England and when they were going to return to England Benjamin hid so he wouldn't have to go back on the boat. He hid in a farm house where he met his wife to be, Elizabeth.
