Frederick's father was Philip Zimmer, Born in Bavaria, Germany about 1785; imigrated into this country in 1837 and died in 1877. Philip Zimmer was a weaver by trade and the owner of about fourteen acres of land in Germany. Said he left no relatives by the name of Zimmer in Germany. Philip married ? Kline also born in Bavaria, Germany and imigrated to this country with him and died about 1860.
