I am new at this and just getting started, I have some info, but I am seeking more, aren't we all.
My Family starts in Maryland with James Barkhurst born abt. 1645 and died 1681 in Talbot Co., James Barkhurst born abt. 1675 in Talbot Co., Maryland, and died abt 1731 in Queen Anne's Co., Maryland, then John Barkhurst born 1715 in Queen Anne's Co., Maryland, and died there in 1768, James Barcus born 1740 in Maryland might have lived in Virginia at some time, he died 1803 in Jefferson Co., Ohio. James Barkus born 1760 on the Eastern Shores of Maryland, He enlisted in the American Revolution War and died 1842 in Jefferson Co., OH. Richard Barcus born 1778 in Delaware and died 1856 in Columbian, OH. James Barcus born 1812 in Jefferson Co., OH. died 1875 in Gallia Co., OH. Alexander Clark Barcus born 1840 in Jefferson Co., OH. died 1903. James Robert Barcus born 1869, died 1947. Harold James Barcus born 1904 and died 1937 in Gallia Co., OH. Melvin Lee Barcus born 1926 in Gallia Co., OH. and died 1993 in Gallia Co., OH. This last name is my Father and then his Father and so on up the line.

I am also researhing the McCoy, Holstein and Rollins families from West Virginia. The Talbert, Black, and Conrad families from West Virginia. And the Esterly family from PA. and West Virginia.

I would appreciate any information and I am willing to share what I have.
