* The Stevens Family from Maryland, Kentucky, and Indiana*

The first generation of the Stevens Family started w/John Stevens, 1704-1764. His wife was Mary Winsor. They lived in Montgomery County, Maryland. There were 5 children. The next generation started with his only son, Richard Stevens who married Lydia Garner. They had 7 children. In 1800, part of that family moved to Kentucky.I am a direct descendant of their first born son John Garner Stevens from Ohio County, Kentucky.
