The LUSKS of Calhoun, Georgia

What a family we are! And, I am trying to find as many of us as possible. My grandfather was the one and only Clarence Grady Lusk, Sr. (junior is my dad) who lived most of his life in Calhoun, Gordon County, Georgia. My grandmother is none other than Pauline Eugenia Woodall Lusk. She is getting ready to celebrate her 90th birthday and still resides in Calhoun, Georgia, on the Foster-Lusk Road.

We are a large family. My grandparents had seven children and 17 grandchildren. When you add all of the spouses, great-grandchildren, cousins, cousins of cousins, we can't go to town without running into someone we are kin to!

We try to get together as often as we can. We are part of the Knox Reunion in Cherokee County, Georgia the second Sunday of every August. However, our big event is our PIG PICKIN' in October which also celebrates Mama Lusk's birthday.

Although we are big, we are getting lonesome and longing for the ones we know are out there and have never met. We know there are at least some sixth, seventh, or eighth cousins removed that we would like to get to know.

We would really like to find all of the unknowns or lost.

So, like the cousins called when we were young "come out, come out, wherever you" and "ready or not here we come."
