Researching Floyd Estes born c. 1789 in what became Tennessee. Married Achsa Lea in 1814 in Jefferson County. He served in the Creek war and is believed to have been at the battle of Horseshoe Bend in Al. He moved from Granger Co. in 1826 to McMinn Co. TN, where he died that year.
