Della is the 3rd daughter of James Henry Anderson and William is the oldest son of James' younger brother Joseph Brown (Bud) Anderson. They are also 1st cousins on their mother's side. Della is the 3rd daughter of Minnie Elizabeth Ashford, William is the eldest son of Minnie's older sister Helen Tennessee Ashford.
