I am researching ancestors who are near, but elusive characters since the beginning of time. Some family names are: HART,TRUAX,PANABAKER,LOOFBOURROW,CAVIN,CAVINS,GAINEY,GILES,VIVIAN,DUDLEY,BRADSTREET,WADE, just to name a few. Since I began my search in 1994,I've found quite a bit of interesting history about my family.....alas it's never enough. for every tid-bit I discover,I find that I want more. It's like an unquenchable thirst. This journey that I have embarked upon can be described in 3 words..."Fun,Fascinating,Frustrating".....however its never Futile.I find myself going at it for days, weeks at a time, then its time to set it aside, for weeks, even months at a time, but like the "Moth to the Flame", I always return. Fortunately for me, the "moth", its not deadly, just a few more grey hairs, piles of papers, and long hours spent at the computer, or the library. Hours I should be spending, doing more mundane things, such as housecleaning, weeding, or other such ridiculous chores. Somehow the everyday stuff seems to get done, sometimes not so well, but after all when one is on a journey of discovery, who cares about dust or weeds. The family gets fed, the laundry gets done, the weeds grow, and happily so does my Family Tree.
