I am currently seeking information on Andrew Jackson Butts and his wife, Jane Lovelady. Jane died about 1848 and Andrew about 1870, both in Texas. My linage is through Margaret Ann, their daughter. Since Andrew was still young when Jane died, it is possible that he remarried. I am also searching for ancestors of William Haze McDonald (1869-1939)and Margaret Ann Cooley(1876-1951), both of Mississippi, and John Shows (Schaus)born abt. 1760 in the Mosele Valley, Germany My ancestors are primarily from the Southeast although the Butts line came to Texas from Missouri. |
