Ancestral Leaves: the Families of Charlotte Sodd Evans, LA

I am researching the ancestral lines of William Albert Eatmon (born 1857), m. Inice Maude Neal. According to the death certificate, Mr. Eatmon's parents were William and Lizzie(Smith)Eatmon of New Orleans, LA. Reportedly, there were three other children, a boy and two girls, both of whom entered the convent. I have been unable to substantiate this information.
My paternal line is a bit of a mystery! Moses Habib Sahad immigrated from Syria, c.1907, and later married Lessie Adelaide Ferrington of Franklin Parish, LA. I have been able to verify that he actually entered the country under the name of Mike Moses, but I cannot determine why. He had a brother, Elias, who immigrated to Argentina and a sister who went to Brazil. I have traced Lessie back to Dr. Samuel C. Trahern, m. Adelaide Weeks, but can get no further.
