| My great-grandfather was Albert Henry Poston, born in Quebec City, Canada, 1859, to Charles (Henry?) Poston and Charlotte Tweddell Poston. He was their fifth child and the first to live past 2 years of age. He had a sister, Ella Winnifred Poston who married St. George Baldwin of Ontario, and a brother James Saxon Poston who died a bachelor in Vancouver, B.C. Albert Henry married Katherine Ross Poston in Pembina, North Dakota abt. 1880. and they moved to Washington abt 1889. They had seven children and also raised 3 daughters of Katherine's sister, who died in Pembina. My search is about finding more out about A.H.'s parents and as far back as possible. I would also love to hear from any decendents of A.H. and Katherine Poston. |
