Evans, Landay, Lippincott, Forde, Soden from NJ, PA & Ohio

Updated April 29, 2002

From Samuel Forde and LuLu Soden to John Walker Landay and Mary Lippincott comes Alton James Landay and Dorothy Mae Forde to Norma Jane Landay and Jacob Louis Evans, and on and on. Please feel free to contact me for any information about my lineage or to add additional information you may have. My family as far as I can remember started in New Jersey or Pennsylvania on my mother's side and my father was from Ohio, his family were immigrants from Hungary (I believe). My family is now scattered across the US and I have lost contact with almost everyone except for my sister Kathy and my Uncle Sam. I live in Florida and have for most of my life. I married my husband, Terry, May 3, 2001 in Maui. My grandfather Alton James Landay ran a bicycle shop during the depression and supported 7 children. My father Jacob was a Merchant Marine when he met my mother. He died and is buried in Long Island National Cemetary. I have no information regarding his family, except that his mother was Rose and father was Emil, from Ohio. My father has/had a brother, unkown. Please email me if you have any information regarding any members of my family. I will continue researching and someday maybe we can all get together and have a great big reunion.
