* The James M. Evanson Family Home Page*

Updated September 5, 2000

I am beginning my research on The Evanson Family History from Bucks County, PA. James Martin Evanson (my great grandfather) married Christine and was from the Philadelphia area. They had several children, both male and female. The only one I am sure about is George Albert Martin born October 1903 (my grandfather).
George A. M. Evanson married Pearl Buskirk and they had two children, George Martin (my father) and Eleanor(Gilman).

I do not know much about my family history because of early deaths and my family was very private. However I remember my grandfather always telling me that his side of the family were Scandinavian and came from the Land of the Midnight Sun.

My father married Gertrude Ida Christman (tootsie)and her mothers name was Alverda Christman, My parents had eight children, Carol Marie (Ernie), Eleanor Pearl (Gain), Susan Ann, James Martin (me), Kenneth George, Richard Allen, Deborah Louise (Nolan) and Brenda Lee(Dougherty).

In addition I'm also researching the Buskirk Family of Montgomery County, PA. I have very little information on this clan. I only know that Walter Buskirk (my grandfather) lived in Willow Grove PA and died sometime around 1953 and is buried in the Hatboro Cemetery located in Hatboro, PA. His wife's name was Emma Webster.

Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
