I am researching my great grandfather, James Evans of Jeansville, PA. Married Sarah Mariah Bennet of Colraine (now Junedale), Carbon County, PA on 11/22/1868 by Justice of the Peace J.B. Tony Share in Beaver Meadows, PA. James was naturalized on 9/25/1868 by the court of Common Pleas, Carbon County, PA. They had nine children. The youngest, Howard, born 8/18/1884, is my grandfather. My mother's family holds the Croman-Berrey reunion the second Sunday every August at Ber-Vaughn Park, Berwick, PA. I will be glad to share any information I have on descendants.
