I have Southern roots from Kentucky to Virginia,& found a great deal of research has been done for me by the Nat. Blue Family Assoc....some 6-7 generations researched. Southerners prided themselves on bloodlines. My participation in a NBFA reunion in Romney, West Va. gave me opportunity to visit my ancestor,Capt.John Kerney's stone house(1780)in Martinsburg and find other distant cousins through Susannah Tabb Kerney's(Mrs.John)side. I am still exploring the Blues;now Frances Mary Baldwin Blue, grt/grd-dtr. of Colonel Sharp Delany of Pennsylvania. |
