The Darbys and Pearsons of The Black Country

Updated September 6, 2000

Just starting to look for any links to the Darby and Pearson families.
My grandmother Elsie May Darby married Henry Edward Pearson in 1936. Her mother's maiden name was Malpass, and they all came from the Springfield and Blackheath areas in the Black Country.

In addition, if anyone knows of any Beachams hailing from the Lake District it would be a great help infinding my Dad's family.
We know that his mother was a Surman and that her mother's name was Sallis. They were from Tewkesbury in Gloucester.
