The Kenneth Dean Evans family of Milton Florida

I am researching the John Dennis Evans family of
the Anderson Indiana area. John Dennis is my paternal grandfather.He was born on Oct. 29 1867 in Indiana.He married
Nancy Helena Stingley of Missouri (previously married to a
man sirnamed Harris).Nancy Helena had one child of this marriage,Gladys, who moved to Indiana with her.
John Dennis and Nancy Helena ,nickname Lena, had 3
children, Luretta b.Feb. 1891 , John Forrest b. Sept.1896,and
my father Ira Faye Evans b.Oct.29 1900.John Dennis and son
John Forrest died within minutes of each other on Oct.15 1906 of
typhoid fever.
I am at present seeking information on Jerry Evans, father of John Dennis.
Jerry was born in 1843 ,location unknown.He married Maggie J Hooton on Dec. 25 1865 in Decatur County,Indiana.Jerry
was in attendance at the death of John Dennis and was residing
in St Paul Indiana
I have been unable to locate any other information ,
death date etc. beyond this point. Any assistance would be
appreciated and shareing of info is desired.
