| Family Surnames: Evans, Wilson, Lovelace, Souza, Slack, Hall, Pritchard, Morris, Kendall Regions: California, Hawaii, Pennsylvania West Virginia, England, Portugal, Sweden, I am interested in researching the family tree of my grandmother, Elizabeth Lovelace, and, grandfather, Charles Lovelace. They last lived in San Francisco, California. My grandmother's maiden name was Slack. Little is known of their family history. I am particularly interested in a relative of hers, William Slack, a great, great? grandfather, who was a Brig. General in the Confederate Army in the Civil War. Also, I have a relative who signed the Declaration of Independence, on my father's side - his name unknown. My father's name was Bernard Brown Wilson Jr. and, was originally from Clarksberg, West Virginia. I would like to find out more about a Thomas Kendall, a great, great, great, great, great grandfather, who fought in the American Revolution with the Pennsylvania Rangers. My husband's relatives, the Evans', and, Souza's, are from Hawaii, and their roots go back to Portugal. I would like to find out more about their history, as well. I would apprciate any information you may have to offer. |
