My great grandparent's on my mothers side is John Carr MARTIN & Martha Milbra BLANKINSHIP. John Carr MARTIN was born Sept. 5, 1852 in Henry County, Tennessee, died Oct. 19, 1930 in Attoyac (Black Jack), TX Nacogdoches County, TX. He moved to TX with his parents and 8 siblings in 1871. Martha Milbra BLANKINSHIP was born Dec. 1, 1862 in Nacogdoches County, TX. Died April 19, 1923 in Attoyac (Black Jack),TX, Nacogdoches County, TX. She is the daughter of John W. BLANKINSHIP born May 6, 1832 in Alabama and Eliza MILLER born March 3, 1890 in Alabama. Daughter of Hamon Miller. John Carr MARTIN'S father was Beverly S. MARTIN Sr. born April 30, 1815 in Halifax County, Virginia. His mother was Mary Ann FULLER born Dec. 25, 1830 in Henry County, Tennessee. Her parents were Soloman FULLER and Jane WADE of North Carolina. Both born about 1880. Jane WADE is the daughter of Robert Allen Wade V, and Mary Elizabeth Callicott. Beverly's father was Austin MARTIN born about 1772 in Halifax County, Virginia. Was appointed constable there in July 1806. for 2 years. His mother was Elizabeth CARR born about 1775 in Halifax County, Virginia. Her father was Thomas CARR born about 1750, unknown where born, or who he married. Austin MARTIN'S father was William MARTIN born about 1750 in Virginia. His wife is unknown. Austin remarried Catherine RAMSEY, Henry County, Tennessee on Dec. 18, 1838. It is unknown what happened to Elizabeth and if he had any children with Catherine. The surnames I am looking for is MARTIN, CARR, FULLER, RAMSEY, WADE, MILLIKEN & ABBOTT from the Halifax County, Virginia area. MOORE, BLANKINSHIP, RHODES, FULLER, CUPIT, HARPER, MUKELROY, FALL, RUSSELL, COLINS, from Henry County, Tennessee area, and Georgia, and Nacogdoches County, TX. TRYAN, HARGIS, FULLER, BLAKEY, STEWART, LANGLEY, HALL, GRAY, FULMER, HALBERT, PLEASANT, STRIBLING, TARTT, KOONCE, around the Nacogdoches County, TX area. My mother's father is James Jefferies STRIBLING. Born June 12, 1897 in Nacogdoches Co., TX. Son of William Edward, Mary F. STRIBLING. William is the son of Dr. Charles C. STRIBLING and Emily Catherine BARNES of Meriwhether, Georgia.
