My name is Mike Evans. I am researching the history of the Sturley Evans and Postma family, in fact the whole family. I know that my grandfather (on my mothers side) originated in Northumberland and presumably before that in Holland but detail is very sketchy.
On my fathers side with the name being Evans and Sturley it is more difficult but we are getting there.
I was prompted to start this research by the death of my mother earlier this year and the extensive work my father had already done.
